my thing with the daredevil tag is a lot of people talking abt matt's catholic guilt, trauma, etc and that's just. Not true with his character at all even within the confines of the show where he basically says: I used religion to cope with my trauma and it helped me.
And I would love 2 talk about what separates catholic guilt from regular guilt. Matt is just a character who feels guilty 98% of the time. That has nothing to do with his religion? Really. Also y'all are really using a religion as a personality trait instead of a character trait and it is SERIOUSLY showing and it's? A little weird? I'm blaming Zdarsky anyways back to my point. Matt feels guilty 98% of the time because it is genuienly his fault that a lot of people in his life have died or got hurt. That's the nature of THE DAREDEVIL story and the consequences of his actions and what it means to do good or whatever.
